Manor House, is a Grade II listed Georgian house in the centre of Askrigg and home to Rob and Tricia Selby, offering comfortable en-suite and private facility accommodation in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

 

It is ideally placed for the countryside attractions of Wensleydale and Swaledale. Situated near the market place, Manor House is close to the famous Kings Arms Hotel (known as The Drovers Arms in the T.V. series All Creatures Great and Small) and a short walk to two other pubs, all of which serve food at lunch time and in the evening. The village also has two tea shops and a village shop which sells daily newspapers.

 

Our large double room which features an original Georgian fireplace, exposed beams and king sized bed. There is a standard double room, also on the first floor which features part of stone surround for the large window that was once in the back wall of the house prior to a later building addition.

 

We also have a double/twin/family room which offers flexible accommodation with comfy chairs. All our rooms have a modern en suite facilities, colour television and tea and coffee making facilities.

If you are interested in fresh air, walking, cycling or car riding in glorious countryside with wonderful rivers and waterfalls, then Manor House, centrally situated in Wensleydale, provides you with the ideal base to enjoy The Yorkshire Dales and the numerous attractions to be found within a short distance.

 

We have facilities for drying of wet weather gear and for the safe storage of bicycles.
