Mallard Grange is a rambling 16th century farmhouse set in glorious countryside in the heart of North Yorkshire. A special place with a warm and welcoming ambience, which draws guests back time and time again.
Friendly, relaxed, unpretentious and informal, Mallard Grange is a house full of character and charm, creaking floorboards, winding staircases and some interesting antiques.
The emphasis here is very much on quality and comfort. Blissful beds and crisp white cotton sheets are more important than satellite television and trouser presses.
There are four ensuite guest bedrooms, two upstairs in the main farmhouse and two ground floor bedrooms in the Old Blacksmith's Shop and Carthouse a few paces from the main house.
All rooms are generously spacious, have their own distinct character and views of the surrounding open countryside. Beautifully furnished with comfortable king-size or twin beds, comfy chairs or sofa, refreshments tray, hairdryer, television/DVD, radio/alarm clocks and many thoughtful and quirky touches that guests so enjoy discovering.
The kitchen is the heart of most good farmhouses. Savour the flavour of fresh locally produced food; a real taste of Yorkshire. At Mallard Grange, guests breakfast together around the large dining room table in the farmhouse and plans for the day are made.
