Heather Cottage B&B near Aysgarth Falls in the Yorkshire Dales National Park is, despite the title, an Edwardian country gentleman's residence which has been substantially renovated and restored over the past few years.
It now offers superb bed and breakfast (B and B) accommodation and occupies a position in Aysgarth with spectacular views over Wensleydale and the much photographed Lady Hill.
The house offers two ensuite bedrooms, for which we have been awarded a
4-star with silver award accommodation rating and special Breakfast award.
Rooms are equipped with Flat-screen (Freeview) TV, DVD player, Tea and coffee making facilities with fridge. Both rooms are comfortably furnished with antiques and are bright and spacious.
Breakfast is served in a separate dining room furnished with antiques and with stained glass windows to the rear.
The dining room overlooks the Edwardian rock garden to the front.
The Guest house is full of interesting antiques and the halls are oak panelled with oak floors and stained glass windows in the the fashion of the arts and crafts period.
