Your hosts are Chris and Karen Tinkler who look forward to sharing with you their love of fine food and comfort.  As you drive over the millrace and into the paddock, you will enter a little haven of peace.  Leave the pressures of your everyday life behind, and enjoy a refreshing stay in the delightful surroundings of The Cornmill.

 

Breakfast in the Mill will be a highlight of your stay. The dining room walls are soft yellow stone, the floor is paved with York flags, with glass over the millrace. Your farmhouse English breakfast will be cooked to order while you choose from a selection of cereals, fruits and juices from the buffet - mind your head on the low beams! 

 

In the Victorian farmhouse there is a guest sitting room, with books and games, a log burning stove and a private bar, plus a boot room for wet walking gear. With only five luxuriously appointed bedrooms - one of which is a four poster suite another is a sleigh bedded suite, and all with en suite bathrooms - you are assured of a tranquil stay in total comfort.

 

Outside you can relax on the patio or in the guest garden, or stroll through the adjoining paddock.

 

Fancy a spot of fishing? There are brown trout in the River Dove, just waiting to be hooked. There's plenty to do for the energetic - besides walking on the North York Moors or visiting the coast or the wealth of abbeys, castles and stately homes in the area.
