Carr House Farm is over 400 years old and standing in an acre of garden amid rolling acres of farmland.  Home to Anna and Jack who is an official friendly face for North Yorkshire.  Sleep in romantic 4 poster bedrooms, eat delicious Yorkshire food, roam this beautiful county at your own pace.

An area designated for its outstanding natural beauty in the Hambleton foothills, better known as Herriot/Heartbeat countryside on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.  Absorb this spiritually rich triangle which takes in the Abbeys of Ampleforth, Byland and Stanbrook.

Sleep in crisp white sheets in romantic rooms in relaxed country style.  All rooms are ensuite with colour televisions, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers etc.

Enjoy a full English farmhouse breakfast.  Eggs with yellow yolks to dip your soldiers in.  Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.  When in season there is nothing tastier than Grandad's tomatoes for which he has won many prizes.

Porridge with honey or maple syrup.  pancakes, hot cheese scones, croissants - whatever takes your fancy.  Sample homemade jams such as fig and damson, or exotic kiwi  that has been created on the Aga.

We have now opened our sun room to guests to have use of a larder fridge and microwave and picnic basket. Outside there is a flagged dining area with barbecue to satisfy the most hungry.
