Both bedrooms are appointed with Egyptian cotton sheets and towels, ‘Skinnydipper’ toiletries (exclusive to RSPB), flat screen television and DVD, tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities, alarm clock and hairdryer. The quality experience of your stay is important to us and each room has a complimentary sherry decanter and locally sourced spring water.
Guests are welcome to relax in the farmhouse lounge with its wood burning stove, Sky television and DVD and a wide selection of reference and reading books.
Be assured that we only use the best local produce from local farms and try to keep our food miles to the minimum. We aim to use fairtrade products wherever possible and make our own preserves and marmalade. Our eggs are provided by ex-battery hens, Ruby, Aggie and Gertie.
Whether walking or cycling, you can explore this quiet and unspoilt countryside including the Weaver Walks, the Churnet Valley and the Staffordshire Way. We also have stables and paddock should you wish to bring your horse and enjoy the many quiet roads and bridleways.
