The Severn Trow is a comfortable and warm B&B in the Severn Gorge just a short walk down the banks of the River Severn from the World Heritage Site at Ironbridge.

 

We’d like to welcome you to our home - The Severn Trow - which we run as a Bed and Breakfast in the Severn Gorge, Shropshire. We made a decision when we set up that we wanted the cornerstones of what we do to be friendly personalised service, comfort and a restful atmosphere.

 

All our rooms are beautifully furnished and equipped with hairdryers, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and there is a TV, a safe and a supply of good books.

 

Mattresses are sprung with memory foam ensuring a wonderful nights sleep. Our house is 400 years old so our rooms are not huge - but they are interesting.

 

All bookings include a full Shropshire breakfast served in our guests dining room. You also have access to a dedicated living room where you can sit and read or chat with other guests.

 

We have a lovely flowery patio at the front for you to sit out and enjoy watching village life go by. On warm mornings we’ll be happy to serve your breakfast out there if you like.

 

Shropshire is one of the least populated and (in our view at least) most beautiful counties in England. A mixtures of fertile plains and rolling hills, its a place where you really can get away from all the hustle and bustle of modern living and truly relax.

 

We know we are lucky to live here and will be happy to share our good fortune with you if you choose to stay with us.
