The Calcutts House is located in the riverside village of Jackfield in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge, the birth place of the Industrial Revolution. We offer warm hospitality in our 18th Century former Ironmasters house, rich in character and steeped in history.
We have ample private parking with The Ironbridge and many of the Ironbridge Gorge Museum sites within walking distance. The old towns of Much Wenlock and Bridgnorth are nearby. We are ten minutes drive from Telford centre.
The rooms in the main house are named after previous owners, all of whom were celebrated Ironmasters. Each room is spacious and comfortable and decorated in its own furnished country style. All have their own ensuite shower room.
Delicious freshly cooked breakfasts are served in our period dining room using locally sourced produce.
