Located in the heart of the Shropshire countryside near Church Stretton,  Lawley House has welcomed visitors for over 15 years and the visitor book bears testimony to the many guests who return again and again to enjoy the comfort, peace and warm welcome.

 

A "gentleman's residence" built around 1900 on the site of three cottages set in three acres of gardens and grounds it commands a panoramic view dominated by the Lawley hill, hence the name.

 

Comfort is paramount at Lawley House and all bedrooms have deep divan beds with fine linen and choice of pillows. Duvets are generally provided, but sheets and blankets are available on request. Every room has colour TV, easy chairs, hair dryer, full tea-making facilities and a small fridge for real milk. Many thoughtful extras are provided, such as wine glasses, bottle opener and binoculars.

 

Guests sometimes mention breakfast as the highlight of their stay. The fine Minton china and gracious ambience of the dining room add to the experience.

 

Not only does Lawley House have spectacular views but a truly delightful garden, which has been carefully planted to give year round interest with particular emphasis on colour and scent .There are over 50 varieties of roses , many of them shrub roses from David Austin nursery which is a 45 minute drive away.
