The Manor House is a charming 17th Century half timbered house, nestling into the edge of the Long Mynd - the jewel of the Shropshire Hills.

This is a comfortable old house with a beautiful garden where you will be the only guests. Henry and Caroline will be on hand to make your stay as restful and comfortable as possible.

You are welcome to sit in the garden in the shade of a tree during the summer or inside by the wood-burning stove in the winter.

The luxurious spacious bedroom, with en suite shower room overlooks the garden with Caer Caradoc, the giant of the Shropshire hills, in the distance. There is a kingsize bed, fitted with cotton bed linen, colour tv with dvd, and tea making facilities. Everything to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The en suite has a walk-in rain shower.

Breakfast is served in the large dining room, which also looks onto the garden. On summer mornings guests may prefer to eat breakfast in the garden under the shade of the umbrella. Caroline provides her guests with whatever they would like for breakfast.

Because you are the only guests staying in the house, your wish will be her command. All ingredients will be sourced locally wherever possible; the muesli, marmalade, bread and biscuits are always home made.

All Stretton is a small village in the heart of the Shropshire Hills. From here you will be able to explore the wide-open spaces of the surrounding hills and valleys, the ruined castles of the Welsh Marches and the small market towns dotted up and down the Welsh Border.

The perfect place to unwind and relax.
