Welcome to the The Heritage, our wonderfully renowned restaurant and rooms, with beautiful ensuite accommodation.
The Grade 2 listed building, built in 1789, has long been a prominent feature at the heart of Chickerell village. Having been sympathetically converted into a restaurant with hotel- standard guest accommodation, the interior of the building retains a wealth of original features and old world character.
The Heritage is family run and we pride ourselves on our exceptional friendliness and uncompromising quality. Our restaurant can accommodate up to around 70 people at any one time and our guest bedrooms are well furnished with everything any visitor, business or tourist, might require.
Chickerell is situated just three miles West of Weymouth sea front, and less than a mile from the Chesil beach. It is a great centre for exploring the World Heritage South Dorset coast, the beautiful Dorset countryside, and the stunning scenery of Portland Bill.
