Welcome to the Hundred House Hotel and Fish in The Fountain Restaurant, a Georgian country house in the heart of the Roseland Peninsula, a declared area of outstanding natural beauty, offering visitors peace and tranquillity.

 

From the moment you step inside the large hall with its splendid Victorian hand-carved mahogany staircase, you get the feeling of a peaceful and intimate
country house hotel promising a warm welcome.

 

One can read a magazine or snooze in the sun-lounge, have a coffee or tea in the lounge warmed by a crackling log fire lit in the chilly months, or find a retreat in the library with its wealth of books, both past and present.

 

All en-suite, the delightful bedrooms have been individually decorated, each having their own character and benefiting from distant sea views over the rolling countryside or over the hotel’s own gardens.

 

Cuisine is at the heart of the Hotel, with the Fish in the Fountain Restaurant proving not only our award winning chef's passion for fish and seafood, but also providing an imaginative daily changing menu. We use seasonal homegrown salads, tomatoes, fruit and herbs as well as prime local fish, game, poultry, sweet Cornish lamb and other exotic meats.

 

The park-like gardens offer the opportunity to enjoy a Cornish cream tea or a game of croquet on the lawn. Take a stroll through Pixie Glen or even sit by the lily pond, enveloped by the scents of sub-tropical flowering shrubs and plants.

From the hotel, the Eden Project and the sea are only a few minutes drive away. The magnificent coastal footpath - mostly owned by the National Trust - provides access to quiet sandy coves and tidal creeks.
