Glen Lodge is a Country House Bed & Breakfast of grand character and presence ideally located in a tranquil position backing onto Exmoor. It is nestled in beautiful woods and grounds of 21 acres.

Glen Lodge was originally built by the local tanner as his family home.  In those days the gounds extended much further than they do today but have always commanded views over the village and across the Channel.

The house exudes an air of relaxation and calm, a rarity in these days of high stress living.  Each room is individually furnished and has a private bathroom, wi-fi access, TV, coffee/tea making facilities and luxury amenities.  Most have views of the gardens or across the Channel to Wales.

This is the perfect location for guests wishing to walk on Exmoor. With over 1000 km of  footpaths and bridleways through woodlands, by tumbling rivers and on open heather covered moorland, the variety is infinite.

Great location for exploring Somerset and Devon from.  Relax on one of the nearby beaches, visit National Trust and other historic properties or simply relax in the garden or on the deck and watch the wildlife.

Glen Lodge is a short walk from the village of Porlock with its unique local shops, pubs, museum, galleries and restaurants.
