This Edwardian townhouse hotel is in an elevated location high above the Penzance rooftops looking over the waterfront activity of Penzance harbour and bay.

Welcoming, indulgent and comfortable, with 25 individual rooms - a superb base for short breaks exploring Marazion to Mousehole, the rugged cliffs of land’s end and the golden beaches and galleries of St Ives.

Come here to be restored; you are right at the heart of the hotel. A warm, welcome atmosphere and attention to care make the best start and end to days spent touring or out on the cliff paths, gardens or historical sites. All 25 rooms are individual and many have lovely views. All are serene and relaxing.

If you like relaxed dining in an airy, stylish modern restaurant with a happy atmosphere, the Bay's the only place to eat in Penzance.

Here we believe in having a seasonally changing menu taking advantage of immediate availability. Doing this allows us to offer the best of local produce at its peak condition: fish from Newlyn, meats and dairy produce from local farms, and vegetables and herbs grown especially for us. All of our menu is freshly cooked to order by skilled chefs who delight in your satisfaction.

West Cornwall is a wonderful base for exploring. Within reach of Hotel Penzance are beautiful gardens, industrial heritage sites, ancient monuments and of course breathtaking cliff walks and seascapes. Artists from the Newlyn & St Ives schools and authors such John le Carre, Rosamund Pilcher and Daphne du Maurier have been drawn to Cornwall for a long time and there are no lack of things to see and do here.

Hotel Penzance is where the guest is king, we want you to feel it's yours for as long as you stay. That's why we take time and care to provide everything we think you need... attentive service, help with planning your day, tickets, picnic baskets or onward bookings...
