Marston Lodge Hotel in Minehead provides visitors to the wilds of Exmoor and Somerset’s rugged coastline with a warm and welcoming launch pad to both explore and relax.

Located in the picturesque 12th century ‘North Hill’ area of Minehead, Marston Lodge Hotel is ideally situated as a base from which to explore, Exmoor, north Devon and the west coast of Somerset.

Formerly an impressive and elegant, Edwardian gentleman’s residence (built circa 1900), Marston Lodge Hotel  retains much of its original character, charm and style.

In keeping with the Edwardian style of the house, the 10 ensuite rooms are elegant and stylish decorated to the highest standard. High ceilings and neutral colours create a sense of space and give a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Large comfortable beds and pretty bathrooms contribute to the comfort of each room.

Marston Lodge Hotel offers simple home cooking and a relaxing bar with a terrace and views across Minehead to the Quantocks.

The food is a blend of traditionally English dishes with added European flair! Simple and tasty, just the thing after a long day on Exmoor. After dinner why not enjoy a frame of snooker in the hotel’s billiard room or relax by the fire with a good book in the guest’s sitting room.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast alongside stunning views across Minehead, the West Somerset Heritage Steam Railway to Exmoor and the distant majesty of the Quantock hills.

For those seeking a more active holiday Marston Lodge Hotel can arrange fly fishing trips on the river and sea fishing excursions as well as stalking and hunting trips on Exmoor. With invaluable inside knowledge to the best field sports that Exmoor has to offer, your host will gladly arrange activities to suit you.
