A particularly splendid example of English domestic architecture, Queen Anne House was built by Thomas Gilbert in 1710 from Portland stone at a time when Sir Christopher Wren had initiated its use extensively in the re-building of London after the great fire.
Queen Anne House B&B is a beautifully renovated Grade II listed building circa 1720. It has survived virtually unspoiled compared to most of the townhouses of this period.
