Enjoying a beautiful position overlooking the Exe Estuary, Reka Dom is an unusual 17th century property with a fascinating history and many interesting architectural features.

Choice of 3 double suites (all with ensuite facilities, fridges, T.V/video/DVD etc) including the stunning 'Powderham Suite' with king-size four-poster and 'The Tower' enjoying unrivalled 360 degree views of the estuary and surrounding countryside. Additional self-catering accommodation is also available.  

Our famously extensive breakfast, featuring local farm produce, (organic wherever possible) homemade bread, yoghurt and Marlenes delicious jams, is served in our 'Blue Room' in front of log fires in winter.

Guests can enjoy healing, massage and holistic beauty treatments in this peaceful setting. Dogs are welcome with well behaved owners.

Reka Dom is not a hotel - it is a family home and working house and from music rehearsals to guided tours there always seems to be something going on. However it does still maintain an air of peace & calm, removed from the pace of ’normal life’ and we hope that it becomes a ‘home from home’ in which our guests can really unwind. 

Topsham itself is a historic port that remains largely unspoilt and offers walks, quiet open spaces, a wide choice of pubs, restaurants and independent shops.  With easy access to the M5, A30 & A38 and a regular train service the town makes an excellent base for exploring the whole of Devon.
