For a truly relaxing, yet invigorating experience you are invited to come and stay with us at Cliff House , Located in the quiet unspoilt fishing village of Kingsand in Cornwall, Cliff House is ideally located on the Rame Peninsula.
Cliff House is a Grade 2 listed building dating
back to 1700, The house was converted from two cottages into one house over a150 years ago. Now fully modernised with central heating and en-suite facilities in all it's bedrooms, it still retains many of its original features.
We have 3 double bedrooms for our guests, all rooms with en-suite facilities, all with stunning views of Plymouth Sound and Cawsand Bay.
All our guests have access to the lounge and drawing room. The lounge has a balcony which overlooks Cawsand Bay and Plymouth Sound. The room also has a television, with satellite TV and VCR. There is also a CD player with a large collection of CD's covering a wide range of musical tastes. There is also a refurbished 1908 Bluthner boudoir grand piano for the guests to use. The lounge also has a welcoming log fire during the winter months.
With a range of local produce from the Rame Peninsula every meal at Cliff House is a memorable one. Cliff House has established an excellent reputation for its catering especially the high quality breakfasts.
Situated on the edge of the village of Kingsand, The house is less than 100 yards yards from Cornwall's Coastal Path, just a short walk away is the Rising Sun public house, our village post office and shops. The nearest beach is also only a five minute walk away, as is Mount Edgecumbe Country Park.
It is worthy to note that the scenery in the area is spectacular and the house is situated only a mile from the longest sandy beach in England it being Whitsand Bay. Local leisure facilities include golf, swimming, walking and snoozing.
