The comfortable Victorian farmhouse on our family run organic livestock farm, is a pleasant rural retreat.  Situated right in the centre of Cornwall it is ideally located to enable our guests to enjoy a day out to any part of the county.

Our farmhouse in mature gardens is surrounded by small fields. It is set apart from the farm yards & buildings by a quiet council lane.

Off road, visitor parking is a few yards from the front door.

The delightful guest bed room, light and airy with traditional décor, has a spacious ensuite. There are  books of Cornish interest, tea & coffee making facilities and  WiFi is available. The room looks out onto gardens with fields beyond.

Guests may use a large sitting room at any time with - t.v, a wood-burner, leaflets, maps & more books. This room leads to a bright & colourful conservatory, an ideal place to have a leisurely breakfast, or to sit and read, or just relax, watching the birds and admiring the views.

We are complimented on the wholefood breakfast, which is mostly home grown or home-made.

For visitors who come from a distance, it may be possible to arrange a modest meal on the evening of their arrival.

 

When not out & about exploring Cornwall you are welcome to stroll around the gardens, explore further afield (we will provide a map), or ask for a guided farm walk.

 

Lostwithiel,the ancient Stannary capital of Cornwall (a 15 minute drive away) boasts several good pubs and restaurants.  
Trewithen in Lostwithiel; Rick Steins eateries in Padstow; Jamie Olivers  ‘Fifteens’ at Watergate are among the local favourites for a celebratory meal!  (advanced booking advisable)
