Clifton House is a stunning, privately owned small hotel providing stylish Bed and Breakfast accommodation just 7 miles from Bath and within easy distance of Longleat, Bowood House, Avebury, Castle Combe and Lacock. 

 

Bradford on Avon is a picturesque market town which is one of the last bastions of the independent retailer with a selection of shops and boutiques, as well as a vast array of fine restaurants and pubs.

 

Dating from the 17th  century, with Victorian façade, Clifton House hotel was originally a coaching inn and therefore continues a long history of hospitality. 

Family owned and run, we offer wonderful bed and breakfast accommodation, and rooms for that special occasion or small function, with exceptional service and at competitive rates.

 

As soon as you arrive at Clifton House, you will know you have found somewhere rather special.  A calming atmosphere, excellent food and superior rooms, in a convenient location - you will want to return.

 

Our rooms are decorated and furnished with your visual pleasure and utmost comfort in mind. Not for us the cheap beds and frilly bed linens.... Our double beds are all king size with the most sublime mattresses - we have invested in your best ever night's sleep.

 

The guest drawing room is available exclusively for your comfort and enjoyment with squashy sofas for lazy days and Sunday papers. 

 

The garden also is an area to enjoy and explore, especially in the Summer months.  You can sit and relax to your heart’s content.
