This character property was originally built as a Presbyterian Manse in 1906 in the Arts & Crafts style, retaining many original features such as oak panelling and stained glass windows.

The accommodation at The Manse B&B is spacious and light, and the friendly, relaxed atmosphere will ensure an enjoyable stay.

 

The Manse is located  in a quiet part of Eastbourne, yet is only 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre. The theatres, seafront and South Downs Way are all nearby.

 

There is unrestricted street parking and there are 2 off street parking spaces.

The south facing dining room is large and has French doors leading to the rear garden where guests can relax with tea or coffee after breakfast. The breakfast menu is served between 8am and 9.30 am (or earlier by arrangement). There is a varied breakfast menu and daily papers are available.

 

The sitting room has large comfy chairs,where you can read, chat or listen to music.Books, CDs, local information and maps are available for guests’ use plus an information pack on the wide selection of places to eat.

 

There is an excellent range of pubs, bars, bistros and restaurants within walking distance. The shops, seafront, Devonshire tennis courts, theatres, museums, the start of the South Downs Way and Beachy Head are all nearby.

 

The Royal Eastbourne Golf Course is only 5 minutes walk away and welcome visitors.
