Welcome to Doughty Cottage, once the smoking rooms of Doughty House, Doughty Cottage is part of the seventeenth century terrace situated on top of Richmond hill. The house commands magnificent views of the vale of the Thames immortalised on canvas by painters such as Reynolds and Turner.

 Doughty Cottage has three Italian style double bedrooms individually and elegantly furnished.

The charming and historic town of Richmond is 5 minutes walk away with its wealth of elegant shops, cafes and restaurants, antique and designer shops line narrow lanes, and the Victorian theatre on the green presents previews to west end productions.

Hampton Court, Ham House, Kew Gardens and an abundance of historic places are close at hand. In one minute you can be in Richmond Park, 2,500 acres enclosed by James I and his son Charles as a favoured hunting ground. Large herds of Red and fallow Deer wander freely.

Perhaps Richmond's real beauty however lies in its unbelievable proximity to central London only 7 miles away.
