The Old Vicarage was built in 1820 and provides an ideal country retreat perfect for any occasion.
The village of Icklesham is a few miles from the ancient Cinque Ports of Rye and Winchelsea on the main road to Hastings.
We are surrounded by beautiful countryside, apple orchards with many public footpaths, and a nature conservation wood within easy walking distance from the house. The Queen's Head is a popular, dog friendly pub five minutes walk away, with outside tables and spectacular views of the Brede Valley, the sea, and Rye.
The two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are at the top of the house with delightful views over the garden and towards the church, both have double beds.
We are passionate about hospitality and good food. We provide seasonal local produce in particular and continue to source as much as we can locally, we hope the breakfast menu reflects this enthusiasm.
Our bacon and black pudding come from prize winning Winchelsea butcher Jamie Wickens. Exceptional organic sourdough and rye breads are supplied to us by Judge's bakery in Hastings, now owned by the creators of Green and Black chocolate.
