Set in 27 acres of glorious undulating Sussex countryside, Prawles Court offers unique bed & breakfast accommodation in a tranquil setting.

This fascinating building designed and extended by the renowned architect Nathaniel Lloyd, combines the grand Arts & Crafts style with the warm atmosphere of the Elizabethan core...we've just added a splash of colour.

 

Each of the three rooms are completely unique, individually furnished and full of character. The attention to detail is reflected in the highest quality bed linen, fabrics and facilities. Each of the rooms enjoy views over the extensive front lawns or over holly wall gardens to the rolling fields beyond.

On arrival you can start to relax and unwind with complimentary afternoon tea and home made cakes or an aperitif.

 

When it comes to ingredients, if we can't grow it in our own vegetable gardens, we will source as local, fresh and organic as possible. An assortment of home made bread and preserves is a regular feature on the menu, and of course our own hens always oblige with fresh free-range eggs. The pork and beef regularly comes from local butcher Mr Wood's own bred herds of Berkshire pigs and Sussex cattle, and is prepared and hung in time honoured tradition.

Whether you are here for a weekend break, business trip or a longer holiday, our aim is to make your stay a really special experience, and as relaxed or as action packed as you wish. Guests can make full use of the drawing room which has sumptuous sofas and a wonderful log fire.
