A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at this comfortable Victorian country house, set in its own grounds which extend to twelve acres. The Mount is situated about half a mile from the village of Higher Kinnerton with its two excellent pubs, both with restaurants.

The Mount country house b&b accommodation has comfortable, spacious rooms, all en suite with tea and coffee facilities, television and comfortable chairs for relaxing.

 Additionally we have a spacious drawing room with log fire, conservatory and sunny dining room. We have large gardens for guests to enjoy including use of tennis court and croquet lawn. The Mount enjoys a lovely rural setting with views over the surrounding countryside and the Cheshire Plain.  Communications are excellent with the A55 expressway only a few minutes away, giving access to many centres and places of interest.

The historic walled city of Chester is about 6 miles distant, as is Mold, a small Welsh town which is home to the National Theatre of Wales. Liverpool and Manchester are 45 minutes away and Snowdonia is within an hours drive.  Among the many places to visit locally are the city of Chester with its Cathedral, a wealth of history, extensive shopping, trips to the River Dee and the oldest racecourse in the country.
