Yana & Ian welcome you to Holly-Wood, our Guest House in Windermere, it is a beautiful Victorian family run Guest House where we have had the pleasure of welcoming guests from all over the world, we look forward to offering you a warm friendly welcome and a comfortable relaxed atmosphere and accommodation for you to enjoy during your trip to the beautiful Lake District and its many attractions and activities.

Holly-Wood is set in a quiet residential road in Windermere just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of the quaint village of Windermere in the heart of the Lake District National Park.

A short 15 minute stroll down the hill will take you to Bowness-on-Windermere with its many shops, cafes and restaurants. You can also take an enjoyable boat ride on the Lake from the bottom of the hill.

All our bedrooms have a welcoming atmosphere and attractive decor to help our guests relax after an enjoyable activity packed or quite day spent in The Lakes.

They all have en-suite shower rooms, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, radio alarm clock, flat screen colour TVs, complimentary spring water on day of arrival, a hospitality tray with Fair-trade products and quality cotton towels. All our beds have crisp Egyptian cotton bedding.

We have several walking books that our guests are more than welcome to borrow. We also have contact with a local Climber who can organise activities from beginners to advanced subject to availability and advanced booking.

Why not come and spend a few days with us in a most picturesque part of the country and enjoy romantic walks or a picnic with a magnificent back drop of the some spectacular waterfalls, or perhaps bagging yourself one of the many hills and mountains if you fancy a challenge.
