Stunning open views and a warm friendly welcome await you at Scales Farm; a traditional 17th-century fells farmhouse sensitively modernised to provide accommodation of the highest standard.
We are ideally positioned for anyone wishing to walk or visit the many attractions of the North and Central Lakes or the many historic towns on the North Borders.
Being situated at the foot of Blencathra, we are only 10 minutes easy drive from Keswick, Derwentwater and Thirlmere, and 15 minutes from Ullswater, Penrith and the M6.
All our bedrooms are en-suite, centrally heated, with tea/coffee facilities, colour television and fridges. A separate entrance from our private car park allows guests access to their rooms.
We have a welcoming traditional beamed lounge with a woodburning stove and wide screen tv, together with a large dining room, both exclusively for use by our guests who also have access to the building through a private guest entrance.
