This traditional Victorian Townhouse has been completely refurbished and now offers 5 luxury rooms, single, twin, double & family accommodation. 4 en-suite and 1 with its own lockable private facilities.
The theme of our renovations were based on Brandelhow Park/Wood, besides Derwentwater, purchased by the National Trust in 1904, to provide Cumbrian charm & character to our guest’s accommodation.
Our warm welcome includes a selection of home made cakes offered on arrival. Made using Cumbrian recipes handed down through many generations of our family.
Our individually decorated and well furnished rooms all include well stocked refreshment trays, mini fridge, a detailed welcome pack and chocolates, dressing gowns and other extra comforts.
Our breakfast and packed lunch menus have been designed and developed using local ingredients.
We offer a Full English Breakfast along with a range of Elegant Alternatives, also special diets for Vegetarian, Lactose and Gluten Intolerance.
Around the corner from Brandelhow Guest House the museum tells the story of our quaint market town.
Nearby you will also find the ruins of the castle, or you could follow the millennium trail – a short walk around the town, showing the history of many interesting places as you go, at your own pace.
For the following day’s onward journey or day out we offer a Full Packed Lunch.
