Away from the traffic and crowds, and nestled against acres of beautiful National Park fields and woodlands boasting spectacular views of Lake Windermere and the mountains beyond, is our secluded Bowness guest house offering bed and breakfast accommodation just 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Bowness village and Lake Windermere.

Take a moment to look out for wild deer which sometimes visit. Walk the Dales Way – only a minute’s stroll from our front door – to 3 viewpoints just minutes’ walk from us.

There are eleven individually appointed rooms each with en-suite showers or private bathrooms. Colour television, tea & coffee making facilities, central heating and use of a hair dryer.

With the Dalesway walk ending, almost, in our backyard we are 'walker' friendly, with drying facilities and an outside water tap for cleaning off muddy boots.
