Our Guest House nestles in a scenic valley, overlooked by the Cheviots and Simonside Hills, only a short 5 minute drive from Rothbury and 20 minutes from Alnwick.

Sitting at the foot of the Wreigh Burn, with our own wood, home to much of our local wildlife, the latest being a family of badgers, we are surrounded by meadows and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of our beautiful piece of countryside.

Here the welcome is warm and friendly and we hope that it will soon feel just like home.

Evening brings magnificent star filled skies, which can be enjoyed when sitting on our patio, planted with shrubs and flowers for their perfumes and fragrance. Enjoy a long cool drink or stroll around the garden in the soft lighting.  In the quiet of the night, sleep comes easily, welcome after a tiring day.

We have paid special attention to the comfort in our rooms. Colour co-ordinated decoration and furnishings, with very comfortable beds. All our rooms are en suite. A well stocked hospitality tray, personal toiletries, hairdryer and trouser presses are made available to guests' for their convenience.

A colour t.v with video or dvd linked to SKY television, water filter and small fridge are also available in each room. There are also bathrobes, slippers, and Egyptian cotton towels.

We also have a guests' lounge.  Hill View and Red Velvet Dining Rooms are where we serve our hearty and varied Northumberland breakfast. Evening meals are available and our menu offers a good selection of dishes.  We also cater for people with special diet requirements including glucose or lactose intolerances.

So much to see and do, in our wonderful, wild county, visitor's are spoilt for choice.
