Wake to the aroma of fresh baked bread then sample the award winning Weardale breakfast cooked in the aga using fesh local produce. We use bacon, sausage and black pudding from Broom Mill Farm West Auckland and our own free range eggs when available.
The beauty of Weardale is that everything is in easy reach either by car, bike or foot and there are numerous places to explore ranging from the high wild fells of Weardale and Teesdale, to pretty villages, market towns and the beautiful University City of Durham, with its cathederal, castle and medieval streets.
Situated west of Durham city in open countryside Newlands Hall is the pefect retreat in Lower Weardale close to Wolsingham, Frosterley and Stanhope an ideal location for visiting Bishop Auckland, Barnard Castle, Darlington, Durham, Gateshead, Hexham, Newcastle and the North East Coast.
