Lying nine miles north of Alnwick in quiet seclusion between the Cheviot Hills and the glorious golden sands of the Northumbrian coastline, Brunton is a large Victorian house.

Set in extensive sheltered gardens, it is backed by woods and a stream with long views over open fields to the front and a glimpse of the sea.

Marvellous walks, castles and gardens, as well as golf, fishing, superb birdwatching and riding are all available nearby.

Our spacious rooms have large beds, cotton sheets, and a varied selection of books.  The views to the front stretch out over the neighbouring fields where hares and deer can often be seen, while at the back, the house is sheltered by a backdrop of mature trees.

Whether it’s a gentle walk along the coast, a day’s stretch in the hills, a visit to a historic castle or watching the seabirds on the shore, the area has so much to offer that whatever you decide, you won’t be disappointed.
