College Farm is a 600 acre arable farm set in the peaceful Suffolk countryside, just 6 miles west of Ipswich. The Grade II* Listed farmhouse is a 500-year-old beamed tudor building.  It has been carefully modernised over the years, but still retains its character with oak beams, inglenook fireplace, sloping floors and low doorways.

The house stands in a large garden which guests are welcome to relax in, and is surrounded by fields and meadows in a quiet part of the farm. You may walk the marked footpaths on the farm to enjoy the scenery and wildlife, or play golf, go fishing or horseriding which are all close by.

We are set in an ideal position to visit the County town of Ipswich,  "Constable Country",  the pretty villages and market towns of the area,  and Suffolk's Heritage Coast.

All our bedrooms have a sitting area to relax in,  central heating in winter, cooling fans in summer, colour TV, radio alarm clock, hot drinks tray, hair dryer and comfortable beds in a smoke-free environment.  We also add fresh flowers, sweets and chocolates, toiletries, sewing kit and magazines to the rooms for that special touch.

There is a very comfortable guests' sitting room with antique furniture where you can find information about the local area or read the books and magazines available.  Satellite TV and a DVD player are also found there for your entertainment.

Breakfast is served in a separate dining room where you can enjoy wholesome farmhouse breakfasts freshly cooked on the Aga.
