Welcome to Stoop Farm, a traditional, family farm in the heart of the Peak District. Bez (my husband) is the third generation of his family to farm this land.
As well as approximately 1000 sheep we have 17 geese, 11 hens, 2 cockerels and 4 collie dogs.
We are in an idyllic location which is very private and peaceful, a wonderful place to relax and unwind or alternatively to enjoy the many outdoor pursuits or visit the many attractions in and around the Peak District. There are many walks to local villages/pubs/craft centres, directly from the barn.
Guests have their own access to the barn, which is quite separate to the farmhouse. They also enjoy their own large dining/lounge area on the ground floor of the barn.
We have three bedrooms to let in the barn, one en-suite twin bedroom on the ground floor and two en-suite double bedrooms. We also have two single sofa beds that can be put into any of the rooms to sleep additional guests upon request.
All our bedrooms have tea/coffee facilities and televisions with integral dvd players. We do have a small library of dvds for you to borrow during your stay.
