Bamford is a peaceful and tranquil  Peak District village set in the Hope Valley, an area of spectacular scenery where the river Derwent meets the river Noe. We are close to the Derwent Valley and Ladybower Reservoirs, and also the Derwent and Howden dams, once famous for the training of the 'Dambusters' squadron, and now an excellent spot for fishing surrounded by wonderful views of hills and woodland.
