Blackbrook lodge has 16 acres of beautiful
grounds with a small lake and large ponds,
all our guests are welcome to take a stroll
or a picnic within the grounds.
The double room inside the house boasts a superb antique "half tester bed". The room itself is bright and spacious with original shutteredwindows and a large ensuite shower room. We have another fantastic room in a small converted building which includes a king size bed, separate seating area, ensuite sauna and wet room. Outside it has its own small terrace/seating area.
IOur newest addition is 'the love shack' - a heated wooden cabin situated within the grounds - very secluded and private, set alongside one of the large ponds with private seating/decking area en-suite shower room. Perfect for a romantic break.
We have a lovely breakfast room with a huge arched window and you can enjoy the garden views over a leisurely breakfast. We have a sitting room with a log burner. This room has breathtaking views of the garden and the ponds but is such a peaceful quiet room for reflection and relaxation.
We
are lucky enough to have our own resident
swan, ducks and geese and have a small
flock of sheep. We often have up to 30 wild
canada geese landing on the lake for a visit.
And it is quite breathtaking to see them all
land on the water at the same time.
